Job Description

ICON Motosports is seeking a motivated, sales-driven powersports enthusiast to join our team as the Marketing Manager. This position is located within our Portland, Oregon headquarters. Our Marketing Manager will report directly to the Design Director and be responsible for oversight of all areas of marketing, including print, social media, events, digital mail, etc. A high degree of knowledge and proven experience in modern marketing practices are required. The ideal candidate will be a hard-charger, capable of independent work while integrating with the tight-knit Icon design & development team. In-depth knowledge of the powersports market (specifically streetbikes), customers, and lifestyle is required.

Job Requirements

  • Establish marketing goals to ensure the profitability of products
  • Develop and execute both short and long-term marketing plans to ensure growth and profitability
  • Planning and oversite of print, social, electronic, and direct mail advertising
  • Work with Design Director in copywriting, design, and layout to produce branded marketing materials
  • Conduct marketing surveys on current and new product concepts
  • Measure and evaluate results from past campaigns and make appropriate recommendations to improve performance
  • Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Create and maintain a marketing budget
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications
  • Creating a wide range of different marketing materials
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all divisions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Analyze potential strategic partner relationships
  • In-depth understanding of marketing concepts and competitive analysis
  • High-level skills with database/spreadsheet programs and ms office apps
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Organizational, strategic, and critical thinker/planner
  • Objective driven
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks on various levels with different and converging timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience

  • 3+ Years experience as a marketing coordinator, director, or manager
  • Experience within the powersports industry, specifically the street sector
